Ocean Literacy Principle: 1,2,4,5
Students learn more about aquatic biodiversity. Topics are flora and fauna, food chains and gas exchange.
The activities include writing examples of flora fauna, designing a simple food chain, and an experiment that shows that plants exchange oxygen. This is chapter 2 of the teacher guide, which starts on page 6.
Print booklet for each pair of students or computer and projector to show the booklet, assignment sheet (you will have to recreate them from the answers). For the experiment you need: tub, water, plant, lamp, funnel and tube.
Note: the worksheets for students are missing and the website is currently inactive. However, the answers of the activities are in the Teacher guide, so it is possible to recreate the activities.
