Magnify & Identify Plankton

Students observe the plankton they caught through a microscope, Foldscope, or magnifying glass and make drawings.
They will also answer some questions about the features of each plankton particle they draw and try to identify it. The activity can be found on page 14 of the Educator's Guide. Page 7 has some pictures of plankton. More id-guides can be found by clicking on 'Reference material'.
Computer, projector, microscope, Foldscope or magnifying glass per duo, petri dishes, medicine droppers, slides, cover slips, plankton (collected by students).
