Students learn more about the different types of plastics. They also think about which type of plastic is dangerous for different marine animals.
The students increase their knowledge about marine debris and the negative influence it has on sea animals. Animals are split in surface, pelagic and benthic feeders. Students have to work out which types of plastic like PVC or PET could be harmful for each animal.
Print student hand-outs or show the hand-outs on the projector and let the students write the diagram and cards in their notebook. Computer, projector.
