Marine Protected Area Stakeholder debate

Students have a debate about a Marine Protected Area (MPA). Each student gets assigned to a role and participate as for instance sport fisher or fisheries scientist.
Students learn more about the MPA Merritt Island which is the starting point for the debate. Students who have the same role prepare their role together. In a town hall discussion each speaker gets 2 minutes to plea their case. The students have to come to a consensus about the size and location of the MPA, taking all wishes from the stakeholders into account.
