Students find out more about bioluminescense by designing their own camouflaged crab or squid.
How are light and color important to organisms in the deep ocean? Students use their understanding of wave lengths and absorption and reflection of colors in camouflaging their marine organism.
Copies of images of crab and squid, coloring utensils, flash light (ask the students to bring their own), red, green and blue cellophane, colored paper, scissors, (computer and projector).
