Coral reef and their marine families

Students brainstorm in small groups to see what they know already of the coral reef. After the presentation, the teacher leads a group discussion. As homework, they have to find information about an organism living on the reef. You can find the activity on page 8 of the Educator's Guide. Most species that are found in Australia are also present in Asia.
